The Informer #1 – 5 (1954) : This comic was a blatant rip-off of the then popular radio show, and later television series Dragnet, right down to trying to copy the speech pattern of star Jack Web as Sgt. Friday in the series main hero Sgt. Mark Fabian. For some reason with the 6th issue they changed the name on the cover to `After Dark’ while otherwise nothing changed.
