Longshot Comics #1 – 2 (1995-1997) : An out of the box comic where all the people are drawn from so far away they’re nothing more than dots in the distance. Shane Simmons drew 3840 small panels to tell the blackly humorous saga of “The Long and Unlearned Life of Roland Gethers”. The witty dialogue and comic timing unfolds the 89 years of the British Empire as seen trough the eyes of a Welsh miner’s twelfth son. Originally the comic was self-published trough Eyestrain Productions as a photocopied 80-page mini-comic in 1993, but it was reissued in regular American comic size in 1995.
