Hawkmoon – The Runestaff #1 – 4 (1988) : Part one of First Comics’ adaptation of the fourth book in Michael Moorcock’s epic fantasy series. Hawkmoon attempts to deny his destiny by returning home to Kamarg. Destiny has other ideas, however, when his ship runs aground on an island inhabited by Orland Fank, the brother to the late Knight of Jet and Gold. Fank redirects Hawkmoon back to his quest for the Runestaff.
