The Story – Empire (TPB + Prologue) (2015)

Golgoth thinks he controls most of the populated Earth, ruling through military might and fear, but he can’t even trust his own super-powered staff. Empire is set in a dystopian future in which the Earth has been conquered by an armored supervillain named Golgoth. After a decade of stamping out pockets of resistance, Golgoth is now confronted with betrayal from within as well as an insurrection supported by an alien race known as the Qaron. Establishing a cabinet of Ministers,Golgoth ensures their loyalty through addiction to a booster drug called Eucharist, which is secretly harvested directly from the corpse of Golgoth’s late nemesis, the heroic Endymion. The series is framed through the perspective of Delphi, Golgoth’s daughter, as well as Gologth himself and the multiple perspectives of his Ministers. Intrigue and action abound throughout this series.
