Captain Phil and the Inter-galactic Space Pals (1984) : Welcome to Captain Phil’s Universe! It is perhaps appropriate that SteelDragon Press’s first full-length comic is Greg Guler’s Captain Phil and the Intergalactic Space Pals. Captain Phil was the very first strip in SteelDragon Press’s very first magazine, the digest-sized Real Hep! Comics. Since then, SteelDragon Press has gone on to publish SteelDragon Stories, our first, full-size comicbook, as well as two hardvocer fantasy novels by Larry Niven and Steven Brust (see out ads elewhere in this issue). Greg Guler has since pencilled Americomic’s Captain Paragon and worked extensively as a commercial artist. At last, Greg and SteelDragon are united again. And that’s not all! On the inside back cover, you’ll find Billy Fugate’s “Hercules Junior,” in his first adventure ever.
