Battlestar Galactica #0 – 12 (2006-2007) : Starbuck confronts Zak, accusing him of being a Cylon. Zak admits that he doesn’t know how he has returned, but denies being a Cylon. Commander Adama has serious misgivings about Zak and the other returners but decides to quarantine the returners old medivac ship rather than destroy it. The returners, unhappy with the quarantine order, board zip pods to abandon their ship and reunite with their families on the various ships in the Colonial fleet. As soon as the returners are aboard the other ships, some kind of plague inflicts the humans.
