Site Update: WeTransfer, VikingFile and Ads Partner

This post will give a bit of updates, on what’s happening on GetComics for the last few days.

WeTransfer

Many people messaged me about broken WeTransfer links and asked me to re-upload it. Unfortunately, there’s a bad news. A few days ago, on Wednesday, WeTransfer blocked and suspended our account, also removing all of our uploads from the last 3 years. I am on their Ultimate Plan, which should give us unlimited storage plan and transfer. Unfortunately, that’s a lie. The storage is limited to 5 TB. And, when I asked them to increase the storage allocation (as they promote and give the details on their pricing page), they block and suspend our account. So now, all of our WeTransfer links are unusable.

VikingFile

As a replacement for WeTransfer, we partner with VikingFile. While, VikingFile itself is a new file host provider. The team that built it, is the one that made Multiup.io and has been around since 2008. They are looking to help the community with light and fast (and if possible less intrusive ads) file-sharing service. Please try it, and let me know how it perform?

Ads Partner

This Wednesday, one of our old-time ads partner decided to stop partnering with us. They receive a warning from Amazon for partnering with us and threaten the company. As the result, they made the decision to no longer working with us. Leaving us, only with 1 ads partner remaining and a lot of uncertainty about our future 🙁
